2024 Mercedes-Maybach EQS680SUV will soon enter the top 200,000 best
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV already offers a lot of bells and whistles, but there is a version from Maybach that really adds luxury and exclusivity.
The Maybach EQS SUV, introduced last spring, is a new addition to the Mercedes 2024 lineup, and the automaker confirmed on Tuesday a starting price of $11,150, including a fee of 181,050 pounds.
There is only one Class 1, the EQS680SUV, but there are many options to quickly raise the price above 200,000 pounds.
All versions come with the same powerplant, in this case the twin-engine all-wheel drive system provides a maximum power of 649 hp, or 0-60 seconds, sufficient for acceleration at a speed of 4.1-130 mph and a controlled top speed.
These numbers won't make you sneeze, but comfort is the focus here. For example, the standard package includes an air suspension with smooth damping adjustment, a Barmester 15D surround sound system with 4 speakers and Dolby Atmos, as well as a 56-inch Mercedes hyper-screen control interface that combines several screens into a single unit. One of the screens is designed for infotainment systems, where about 80% of the most common functions are configured to be accessed directly from the main screen.
EQS680SUV buyers also have the opportunity to purchase a set of executive class rear seats, which can be added for free. The package will replace the standard 5-seat configuration, and the rear seats will be replaced with 2 seats, which consist of 4 separate seats with access to a folding table, a heated and cooled cup holder and heated armrests. It also includes a fragrance dispenser in the cabin.
Buyers who have extra money can purchase a Maybach Knight Series design package in combination with an executive rear seat package. This optional package costs $25,000 and features a unique 21-inch wheel, herringbone pattern and walnut trim. Add wood trim, nappa leather, rose gold inserts in the headlights and more.
The order form for the Maybach EQS SUV is already open. Like all EQS SUVs, production will be carried out at the Mercedes plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
