Playmobil Adds First Ferrari to Collection
Ferrari is in a prime position to attract younger fans with its licensing agreement with Playmobil, a popular toy line that allows children of all sizes to create their own little worlds.
The deal, signed 125 years after the birth of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, has already added the Ferrari SF90 Stradale to the Playmobil fleet, and more models from the prancing horse stable could be added in the near future.
The Playmobil fleet includes popular models from a number of brands, including the latest Ford GT supercar, multi-generation Porsche 911s, much-loved classics, and even commercial vehicles of all kinds.
Young car enthusiasts can recreate their favorite race tracks, paint their own dreams for the SF90 Stradale, or simply play in their favorite sandbox.
Playmobil's SF90 Stradale looks realistic thanks to its engine cover, which reveals a V8 cylinder, and front and rear lights. There is room for two Playmobil figures, which can easily be added through the removable roof and windshield.
The Playmobil SF90 Stradale will be available on Friday and will cost about $80. Also included in the box are two Playmobil figures, a golf bag, luggage, and other extras.
